This web page offer documents of analysis
and investigations generated by the CEPAL. Although there are not all
documents, only papers that were digitalized is a great and varied data base.
The documents were put in order by range of knowledge according to the concept
and criterion of the library of the “United Nations”. The page have a large
list of text, about all different topics like politics questions, economic
development, environment, agriculture, education, international relations,
transport and communication, social questions and job between others. The
social science area is not divided by careers is divided by specifics topics
like poverty, social class, minorities, domestic violence, family, etc and into
these topics we can found documents created by specific scientist, sociologist, psychologist,
anthropologist, historians or documents wrote by interdisciplinary groups. I
this moment, when a lot of internet pages was closed there is each time more
difficult found and download academic texts so the virtual library of the CEPAL
is really useful, now I don’t visit it so often because I’m not doing any work
but for learning about any topic is good in any moment.
